Lakedale FAQs: Hours, Reservations, Cancellation Policy, and more

There’s so much to learn about Lakedale: from our seven different lodging types, to our acres and acres of grounds, to our crazy-fun activities, plus all of our special events. Here’s a quick and easy intro to all things Lakedale – so you can get your vacation going just a little bit sooner!

How do I make a reservation at Lakedale Resort?

The easiest way to make a reservation at Lakedale is on our website. You can also call us at 800.617.2267 and one of our team members would be happy to assist you. 

What is Lakedale’s cancellation policy?

Your deposit of one night’s room and tax is non-refundable if canceled within fourteen (14) days of your scheduled arrival date. There is a $50 processing fee on cancellations made outside the fourteen (14) day window.

What are Lakedale’s deposit and payment policies?

Your reservation is held with a one-night room and tax deposit. The remaining balance will be paid upon your day of arrival.

What time is check-in/out?

Check-in is available at 4:00 p.m. Departure is 11:00 a.m. Currently, check-in and check-out are contactless processes. Check-in packets will be placed on a table under the porte-cochere of the main Lodge building at check-in time. To ensure proper distancing and foot traffic flow, only one (1) person from your party should come to pick up your check-in packet. What are your front desk hours?

Our front desk hours are: Weekdays/Weekends (Non-Summer Hours): 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  

Weekdays/Weekends (Summer Hours): 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

(Summer Hours: Memorial Day through Labor Day)

Is there a continental breakfast?

Yes! Breakfast is served in the Mess Tent for our glamping guests from May-September, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Selections include granola, cereal, pancakes, fresh fruit, bagels, muffins, hearty oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, juice, freshly brewed coffee, hot chocolate, and teas. Our lodge guests receive an expanded continental breakfast with a daily egg special, pancakes, oatmeal, fruit, and much more from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. year round.

What is Lakedale’s smoking policy?

All accommodations and indoor common spaces are non-smoking.

What is Lakedale’s pet policy?

Pets are allowed in Campsites and RV Sites with no extra fee. If you are bringing a pet, there is a one-time canine fee of $50 per pup, per stay, with a maximum of two dogs per Log Cabin or in the Lake House. Pets are not allowed in the Lodge, Yurts, Canvas Cabins, or Cottages. All pets must be on-leash at all times while on Lakedale’s property. 

Does the resort have a minimum stay?

While we hope you stay at Lakedale for many days, our minimum stay is one day.

Is there complimentary WiFi? What is the Internet situation?

Yes, Lakedale has free WiFi in and around the General Store. The signal does not stretch throughout our entire 82-acre property (and we encourage you to unplug). WiFi is free and available in all Lodge Rooms, Log Cabins, the Lake House, and Yurts. Please call us at 800.617.2267 for more information about WiFi and Internet options.

How is the cell service at Lakedale?

Most cell phones don’t receive reception on our property and internet service is unreliable due to the lack of provider coverage in the middle of the island.

When is a good time to visit the resort?

Any time is a good time to visit Lakedale. Our Lodge, Log Cabins, and Yurts are open year-round! Our glamp-ground (Canvas Cottages, Canvas Cabins, Camping and RV sites) is open from April through October.

How do we get to Lakedale from the ferry?

Please contact us for directions to the Anacortes ferry and getting to Lakedale Resort. We are located approximately 5 miles from the ferry dock. The Washington State Ferries website has current sailing information. Please do not forget to make your Ferry Reservation and arrive at least 60 minutes prior to your reserved departure! Ferries can run between 15 minutes and 2 hours late during times of high traffic, so we recommend arriving at the ferry terminal at least 2 hours early if you plan to ride stand by.

What is there to do at Lakedale?

There are lots of things to do at Lakedale for all ages! From giant chess to SUP boards, fishing, and cruiser bikes, you won’t run out of options. Start planning your outdoor activities at Lakedale.
