Property Map

The property map is a great way to familiarize yourself with our San Juan Island resort. Lakedale is comprised of three lakes originating from natural springs at the north end of the property and flowing in a large circle around the peninsula of land where our lodging and activities live. Although you won’t be able to select specific units from the map, you will be able to visualize where each accommodation type is located including our lodge rooms, yurts, campsites, glamping village, and more.

General Store

Remember riding your bike to the store as a kid and spending your allowance on candy? The Lakedale General Store is that country store you remember as a kid – a throwback with a modern nod to necessities you may need for your stay with us. Located conveniently near our San Juan Island hotel rooms and campsites, we stock beer, wine, apparel, camping gear, ice cream, groceries, along with grab-and-go items and made-to-order espresso drinks. And unusual things you never knew you needed. Open seasonally from April through October, the store is the hub for Lakedale activities, renting fishing gear and stocking up on ice and firewood.

Blog

One day our crack team here at Lakedale decided we needed a way to share critical, urgent, and entertaining issues with our guests. Essential things like whale watching on San Juan island. Exploring the San Juan Islands on a family camping getaway. Where to go on a day trip to Orcas Island from Friday Harbor. We delve into the weighty topic of the most pet-friendly places to take your dog on San Juan Island. We even accept requests from guests on subjects they’d like to learn about the Pacific Northwest. And then we wrap them all up in our bi-monthly blog posts. Enjoy!
