According to NorthwestWiningandDining.com, there’s a new word to add to your vocabulary: “glamping,” a combination of “glamour” and “camping.” Lakedale now offers ‘Glamping Survival Kits,’ a collection of outdoor necessities for the glamorous camper (’glamper’). Each package was developed to be enjoyed while staying at one of 13 ‘glampsites,’ featuring canvas cabins furnished with a queen bed, full-size sleeper sofa or lounge chairs, bed and bath linens, and beautiful hickory furniture.

The Lodge's Great Room with an oversized stone fireplace offers a comfortable area to read or relax. Be sure to peruse the walls of Lakedale's Lodge for a peek into the largest collection of historical photographs of the San Juan Islands.

The resort is surrounded by 82 scenic acres, providing guests with a range of outdoor activities including hiking on our many trails and paths, nature-watching, playing horseshoes, barbecuing, making s'mores and more. There are three fresh springwater lakes for swimming in, as well as paddle boat, row boat, and canoe rentals.
