Here are some of the Frequently Asked Questions from our guests:
Q: What is your reservation confirmation, deposits, and guarantee policy?
A: We send either an email or a postal confirmation with each reservation unless there is not time for the guest to receive it before they arrive. (Confirmation may not be provided if the guest fails to provide an email address or mailing address when booking online). We require first night’s room rate as a deposit. It is charged to a credit card at the time the reservation is made.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: A vacation deposit is fully refundable up until seven days prior to arrival, after which time it becomes non refundable. Group cancellations are outlined in each contract.
Q: Do you provide any special services?
A: We are happy to do whatever we can to ensure that the guest has an enjoyable stay and do our best to accommodate special requests. For example, we will make your dining and sightseeing reservations. We also offer special packages and gift certificates throughout the year.
Q: What are your rates?
A: We have two seasons, October 1st – May 15th is the quiet season; May 15th – September 30th is the high season. Please refer to our Accommodations page for rates and to our Specials and Packages page for quiet season online specials.
Q: Can I check in early?
A: We do not guarantee a room for check in until 4pm. However, on request a guest may be able to check in as soon as the room is ready.
Q: How do I pay for my room and other charges?
A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept cash.
Q: Can you accommodate guests with disabilities?
A: We have one ADA accessible guestroom.
Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: Only service animals are allowed in the Lodge. However, we do have pet-friendly cabins and the campground is pet-friendly as well. Advance notice to the front desk is required and a pet fee of $25 will be charged.
Q: How far are you from the ferry landing?
A: Approximately four-and-one-half miles from the ferry landing.
Q: Are there laundry facilities for campers to use?
A: There are laundry facilities in the towns of Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor.
Q: Do your cabins have dishes, linens, etc ?
A: Yes, cabins are fully furnished.
Q: Can I swim in the lake?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I fish in the Lake?
A:Yes. We stock Neva Lake with Kamloops and rainbow trout and both lakes have resident wide mouth bass. A Lakedale fishing license is required and can be purchased at the Resort.
Q: Where is the nearest place to buy fishing tackle or snacks?
A:There is a General Store on the Resort grounds that is open seasonally during summer months. It stocks basic camping and fishing gear, grocery items, and beverages. In the quiet season, equipment can be purchased in the town of Friday Harbor. |
