Outdoor Activities at Lakedale Resort

The resort is surrounded by 82 scenic acres, providing guests with a range of outdoor activities including nature-watching, playing horseshoes, bocce ball, barbecuing, making s'mores and more. There are three fresh spring water lakes for swimming in, as well as paddle boat, row boat, stand-up paddle boards, and canoe rentals. Or try your hand at fishing in our stocked lakes (Lakedale fishing permit purchase required). Catch a trout or wide-mouth bass and barbecue it for dinner! In 2012, we added 3 new docks, adding more accessibility for fishing and boat rentals at Dream and Neva lake.

Lakedale offers a variety of summer activities (Memorial Day to Labor Day), including volleyball, canoeing and kayaking, and bocce ball. There is something for everyone, whether it's paddle board rentals, treasure hunting, campfire cooking demonstrations, birdhouse and jewelry making classes, our afternoon sundae bar, fishing gear rentals, and more! We continue to add new and exciting activities to make your stay at Lakedale memorable and fulfilling. Tie-dye parties supply guests with a plain white t-shirt with Lakedale logo, rubber bands, buckets of dye, and clothesline in order to create a unique, personalized souvenir.

Organized activities are available daily, in the late afternoon/early evening, and a schedule is posted at the General Store. Activities include, but are not limited to, the following: tie-dye, sundae bar, birdhouse and jewelry making classes, and scavenger hunts.

No one will go hungry or bored thanks to a plethora of offerings at the newly modeled General Store (open weekends starting in May, and 7 days a week from June 1st to Labor Day). The Store is stocked with groceries, wine, beer, ice cream, camping and fishing gear, bait, ice, wood and much more. For those needing their daily "pick-me-up", stop by for some piping hot espresso. We also boast a lending library of books for all ages.
